Capturing beautiful skin tones is essential for portrait or fashion photography. This workshop will help provide you with an understanding of how makeup, lighting, camera setting and post-processing work together for flattering skin.
In this single day hands-on workshop you will have the opportunity to photograph a variety of skin tones/textures in at least 6 different setups including lighter skin tones, darker skin tones, and mature/textured skin. You will learn how adjustments to lighting and color management make dramatic changes to the appearance of the skin and then you will be able to capture beautiful shots of each subject.
We will take an in-depth look at how light modifiers, quality of light, direction of light and more will affect the appearance of skin in your images. After the shooting segment we jump into post-processing and you will learn quick tips for skin retouching including essential photoshop techniques as well as useful plugins.
