Whether you are new to photographing fine art nudes or a seasoned professional, this workshop is both educational and filled with creative inspiration! Take the lessons learned here to build your portfolio, plan your own shoots, or utilize the creative techniques taught no matter what type of subject matter you shoot.
Attendees will have the opportunity to photograph a wide range of professional models and lighting setups that include subjects for figure study, body-painted, vintage-themed visual and much more. Each workshop is unique as we continually strive to create new and exciting setups!
You’ll walk away from this workshop inspired and ready to create beautiful works of art, guaranteed!
We’ll begin with a presentation that explores the essentials of fine art nude photography and take you through the creative and planning process of putting together a fine art nude shoot. This includes etiquette, finding models, concept development, model releases and more.Â
Next, Lindsay will show her 5 go-to art nude poses and how she makes subtle changes to each pose for endless variations. Lindsay also will cover important elements to avoid in order to achieve the most flattering lines and poses. In this demonstration you’ll see how light, shadow and pose work together to flatter the human form.Â
Before each setup, Lindsay will break down her lighting choice, set design (where applicable) and posing considerations for the concept. Photographers will then have the opportunity to photograph at least 6 unique setups to explore the range of what is possible with fine art nude!Â
