Lighting can be your superpower. Carefully crafted lighting allows you to direct the viewer’s eye, convey an emotion, flatter your subject/clothing, and create striking visual impact.
In this single day jammed-packed workshop Lindsay Adler will show you how to use 1, 2, or 3 light sources to sculpt the scene for striking fashion images. We will feature both practical commercial lighting setups as well as creative editorial lighting.
For shoot shoots a single light source is really all you need! For other situations a second or third light will be essential to refine your lighting, flatter the clothing/subject or achieve creative effects.
This workshop, sponsored by Nanlite, will utilize a variety of continuous light sources that include standard modifiers as well as specialty tools to showcase lighting mastery.
You’ll work with a minimum of 8 different setups using 1, 2, or 3 lights in this hands-on workshop. We will build upon the lighting concepts and foundations each round for increasingly more ‘complex’ setups that feel effortless!
This workshop includes stunning models with professional hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling to allow you to capture magazine-worthy imagery.
After this class you will be able to create striking images with a single light and understand how to transform and control your image by moving from 1, to 2, or even 3 lights.
