Capture stunning looks from iconic women through the 20th century in this one-of-a-kind hands-on photographic experience. Together we will examine and capture beauty trends from the 1920s-1980s.
We will draw inspiration from women who have shaped and changed our style/beauty ideals including Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Anna May Wong, Twiggy and more!
We’ll study the definitive looks of each decade ranging from finger waves, victory rolls, thin emotive brows, dramatic lashes, winged liner, graphic eyes and many other iconic looks. Each fully styled look will give you the opportunity to not only learn about influential beauty trends, but also a chance to photograph every look with lighting directed by Lindsay.
In this workshop you’ll be working with an incredible hair, makeup and wardrobe team with a deep passion for fashion and beauty. These talented creatives have been part of making images of iconic women ranging from Madonna to Liza Minelli and Jennifer Lopez, and working with a range of prestigious publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper Bazaar and more. In other words, this team is unparalleled in talent, passion and experience!
Participants will have the opportunity to photograph at least 4 models and at least 8 looks.
