Join Lindsay Adler on this portfolio-building and educational workshop all about photographing incredible hair art!! You will be photographing hair that is not just breath-taking, but are also sculptural works of art by some of today’s most talented and award-winning hair stylists. In this 1-day portfolio workshop you will have the ability to shoot 8 stunning different setups with time one-on-one with each model and set. Lindsay and her team craft stunning photographic opportunities, and she walks through each set to explain the lighting choices, concept, styling, posing options and more. You will work with high end professional models and hair stylists to create results that you never dreamed up!
Then join Lindsay on a short tutorial on essential hair retouching techniques!

This is a portfolio intensive that is jam packed with learning and having Lindsay by your side answering questions and guiding you along as you shoot.

FAQ

Do you provide transportation/airfare for the event?

No, transportation is the responsibility of the attendee.

Should I bring my camera or laptop?

Camera is mandatory. Laptop is optional but useful if you wish to follow along with the retouching portion of the workshop.

Do I need to bring any other additional equipment?

No. All lighting and other equipment will be provided.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The studio is located in at W. 26th Street in Chelsea. (Exact address will be given closer to the event). There are several options for parking around the studio, including an affordable parking garage (around $24 per day if you get in before 10am) on 25th street.

The studio is also a short walk from Penn Station. I recommend Uber if you need a ride as well!

Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?
Printed or show proof of purchase on phone

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
As long as they have the ticket, sure!

What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of this event and production costs, a refund in most cases may not be available and may be applicable to a cancellation fee or only be available to transfer to someone else. Please contact us regarding questions about a refund.
