Join world renowned fashion photographer Lindsay Adler for 3 days of education, inspiration and shooting during this fashion & beauty portfolio building workshop at her studio in New York.

Lindsay will uncover her secrets to essentials of imagery, including concept building, gathering a creative team, creative studio lighting, location lighting, posing, directing models, retouching and much more. There are NO other workshops that meet this caliber of image-making!

Attendees will have the opportunity to work with top agency models, incredible hair stylists, makeup artists and wardrobe stylists, all while gaining valuable instruction from Lindsay Adler. You will learn everything from lighting and posing to retouching and post processing, with plenty of time to shoot and put these lessons into action. This workshop is perfect for someone interested in learning about the world of fashion photography or simply looking to take their portfolio up a notch. We will spend time both in the studio and on location to prepare you for couture image making in any environment!

This is a portfolio intensive that is jam packed with learning and having Lindsay by your side answering questions and guiding you along as you shoot!

This day includes a 1-hour private scheduled session with Lindsay, access to Canon ImagePROGRAF professional series of printers to print your images, plus a 45 min private marketing session with brand specialistic Robert Gordon.

Enjoy access to Lindsay’s professional Canon printers and enjoy the power of the print! You’ll appreciate your knowledge, talents and images to a whole new way when you bring your images to life as prints. A member of the team will be on hand to assist in the printing process.

Lindsay’s session:

During your session with Lindsay she can review your portfolio, answer business questions and more. The hour is yours! Bring your questions… whatever they may be!

  • Critique of your portfolio and photographic style
  • Analyze common ‘problem areas’ for improvement
  • Help determine next steps for your business or portfolio development
  • Answer questions about bidding for jobs, putting together fashion shoots, and much more.
  • Advice on technical questions or other questions lingering from the class

Robert’s session:

During your session with Robert he will answer your marketing/web related questions and help you develop your online marketing strategy:

  • Review of your website, blog, SEO and online presence
  • Help you build your ‘next steps’ marketing strategy
  • Tips for marketing your business and images
  • Help building your client profile and marketing strategies to reach your ideal client

FAQ

Do you provide transportation/airfare for the event?

No, transportation is the responsibility of the attendee.

Should I bring my camera or laptop?

Since we will be shooting and retouching you definitely should have your camera and laptop with you.

Do I need to bring any other additional equipment?

No. All lighting and other equipment will be provided.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The studio is located in at 526 W. 26th Street in Chelsea. (Exact address will be given closer to the event). There are several options for parking around the studio, including an affordable parking garage (around $24 per day if you get in before 10am) on 25th street.

The studio is also a short walk from Penn Station. I recommend Uber if you need a ride as well!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
As long as they have the printed ticket, sure!

What is the refund policy?
Due to the nature of this event and production costs, a refund in most cases may not be available and may be applicable to a cancellation fee or only be available to transfer to someone else. Please contact us regarding questions about a refund.
